Nimm dieses Konstrukt jetzt in deine Nicht-Häkelhand.

Now pick up this construct with your non-crochet hand.

Führe das lange Garnende um deinen Zeigefinger und lasse das kurze Ende runterhängen.

Führe deine Nadel durch den Doppelring und erfasse das lange Garnende.

Guide the long yarn-end around your index finger and let the short yarn-end hang down.

Guide your hook through the double-ring and grab the long yarn-end.

Ziehe eine Schlaufe durch den Doppenring, erfasse dann das Garn erneut und ziehe eine Schlaufe durch die Schlaufe auf deiner Nadel.

Damit ist der Fadenring gesichert. Diese erste Masche zählt nicht als Masche und wird nicht zum Häkeln verwendet.

Pull a loop through the double-ring, then grab the yarn again and pull a loop through the loop on your hook.

The magic ring is now secured. This first stitch doesn’t count as a stitch and is not used for crocheting.

Jetzt kannst du die Maschen in der Maschenart und Anzahl in den Fadenring häkeln, die du für dein Projekt benötigst.

Now you can crochet the types and numbers of stitches into the magic ring that you need for your project.

Sobald alle benötigten Maschen in den Ring gehäkelt wurden, kannst du ihn zuziehen.

Ziehe dafür langsam am kurzen Garnende…

Once the required amount of stitches is worked inside the ring you can pull it closed.

Slowly pull at the short yarn-end for that…

… bis einer der Doppelringe kleiner wird. Jetzt aufhören zu ziehen.

… until one of the double-rings gets smaller. Stop pulling.

Ziehe stattdessen jetzt an dem kleineren Ring, damit auch der zweite Ring kleiner wird.

Pull at the smaller double-ring instead now so that the second ring is getting smaller as well.

Ziehe ihn komplett durch, so dass der zweite Ring nicht mehr zu sehen ist.

Pull it all the way through so that the second ring isn’t visible anymore.

Jetzt kannst du wieder am kurzen Garnende ziehen und den anderen Ring ebenfalls durchziehen.

Now you can pull at the short yarn-end again to pull the other ring through as well.

Das war’s. Der Fadenring ist vollständig zugezogen. Falls doch noch eine kleine Öffnung in der Mitte ist, ziehe einfach nochmal am Garnende.

That’s it. The magic ring is closed completely. In case there’s still a small opening in the middle, pull at the yarn-end some more.

Nimm jetzt die Garnschlaufe des Rings auf deine Nadel und häkle los. 🙂

Halte das Garn dabei mit Daumen und Zeigefinger stramm.

Grab the yarn that runs around your index finger and pull a loop through the two loops on your middle finger.

Hold the yarn tight with thumb and index finger.

Erfasse das Garn erneut…

Grab the yarn again…

… und ziehe es durch die Schlaufe auf deiner Nadel.

Das war’s. Der Fadenring ist gesichert und kann nun mit den benötigten Maschen gefüllt werden. Du kannst den Ring dafür auf deinem Finger lassen, oder ihn vorher abziehen.

That’s it, the magic ring is secured and can be filled with the required stitches now. For that you can leave it on your finger or you can pull it of first.
