I used to sew or crochet openings closed with a few quick stitches/slip stitches, then weave in the yarn-end and cut off the rest. You can still find this in my older crochet patterns. It’s okay that way and serves its purpose…

Führe jetzt das Garnende durch jede der verbleibenden Maschen, eine nach der anderen. Verwende nur die vorderen Schlaufen!
Now guide the yarn-end through each of the remaining stitches, one after the other. Only use the front loops!
Ziehe dann am Garnende, um die Öffnung zuzuziehen.
Sieht jetzt schon super aus.
Now pull on the yarn-end to pull the opening closed.
It already looks great.
Webe das Restgarn durch ein paar Maschen und lasse es aus einer beliebigen Masche wieder herauskommen.
Weave the remaining yarn through a couple of stitches and let it come out of a random stitch.
Ziehe das Garn vollständig nach und schneide es dann nahe am Material ab. Fertig. 🙂
Pull the yarn through completely and cut it off close to the fabric. Done. 🙂
Das sieht doch einfach viel schöner und sauberer aus, oder? Wie ein Fadenring. Besonders an Stellen, die später weiterhin sichtbar sind, finde ich diese Technik einfach toll. 🙂
